Los Angeles: The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards delivered a night of firsts, milestones, and heartfelt speeches at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Seth Rogen won the first Emmy of his two‑decade career, taking home Lead Actor in a Comedy for his role as studio chief Matt Remick in Apple TV+’s The Studio. “I so could not wrap my head around this happening… I’ve never won anything in my life,” Rogen told the audience, visibly moved.

Veteran star Jean Smart extended her dominance in the category of Lead Actress in a Comedy, winning her seventh Emmy and her fourth consecutive for HBO’s Hacks. “Let’s be good to each other; let’s just be good to each other,” she urged in her acceptance speech.
