Saudi Arabia arrests nearly 15,000 migrants for violating housing, labor and security laws.
14,955 migrants have been arrested in a week-long operation since February 22. They are accused of violating housing, labor and safety laws.
The Saudi ministry said in a statement that 9,800 people were arrested for violating the Housing Law, 3,888 people for violating the Border Security Law and 2,787 people for violating the Labor Law.
In addition, 849 people were arrested while trying to enter Saudi Arabia illegally; Most of them are citizens of Yemen and Ethiopia. Besides, the country’s law and order forces have arrested 99 people for trying to leave Saudi Arabia illegally.
